Welcome To Arts & Commerce College, Ashta
Kasegaon Education Society was established by Late Shri Rajarambapu Anant Patil in 1945, the pre-independence period. Bapu had an earnest desire to transform the image of rural are especially of Walwa taluka. Rajarambapu had a vision that the root of economic development is in education,with the purpose to develop walwa taluka educationally & culturally. Arts & Commerce College was established t Ashta in 1965. It gave an opportunity of higher-education to students especially from rural area.
For the past 50 years, this college has developed courses from K.G to P.G. in the premise of 40 acres, this college is taking these courses to enhance the opportunity of employment and self-employment taking into consideration the significance of Globalization.

It is said that teaching is the profession that makes all other professions possible. Teaching and sharing the knowledge is a noble profession. We are trying to continue the mission of the Great Social Reformer Late Rajarambapu Patil who had a vision to transform the rural education into excellent academic value based education. ‘Kasegaon Education Society’ is striving for a vibrant and dynamic academic atmosphere is a wholesome and holistic exercise. Arts, Commerce and Science College, Ashta is the result of the uncommon vision of Loknete Late Rajarambapu Patil who had an earnest desire to transform the image of rural area especially of Walwa Tehsil. The college was founded in 1965 with the purpose of holistic development in the fields of education and culture. It has been permanently affiliated with Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
